Spectacular, white, sandy beach. Crisp sea breeze. Uplifting morning sunshine. The sound of seagulls and rolling waves. Beach lovers of all ages, the Bali Beach Run is for you!

Sponsored by AirAsia Indonesia, the Bali Beach Run will kick off from 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, 6 September 2015. All three race categories—10K Open, 5K Fun Run, 2.5 Family Run—will start and finish at Kuta Beach, one of Bali’s most famous beach resort destinations.

This easy run is set on the coastline which is fairly flat and has minimal broken glass and sea shells. Do note though: as temping as it is to sink your toes into the warm sand, all runners must wear shoes for safety reasons.

Soak in the jovial, chilled beach vibe! Focusing on the beach area, the 5K and 2.5K runs will bring runners to Blue Ocean Beach through a vibrant promenade lined with colourful open air restaurants and hotels. Meanwhile, the 10K runners will head further northwards along the west coast of hip Seminyak, Bali up to Petitenget Beach, known for its more secluded ambiance compared to its sister Kuta Beach.
