The recently concluded Sundown Marathon 2014 was Singapore’s largest night marathon, drawing up to 30,000 runners for the second year in a row.

However, due to the unforeseen presence of environmental and magnetic interference that were present at the start-line, the official race results for around 2,000 runners will take slightly longer than expected. Race organizer and event HiVelocity is in the midst of contacting each of the affected runners to notify them about the situation.

Unanticipated Circumstances Cause Race Results Confusion for 2,000 Runners

Participants who wish to retrieve their race ‘chip time’ on the official Sundown Marathon website, but find that their timings are missing, are advised to inform event organizer – HiVelocity. In the case where they had timed themselves from the time they crossed the start-line mats to the time they crossed the finish-line, they are advised to reach out to the organiser via email.

Participants will need to indicate their net-time, race bib number and category. Hivelocity will check this piece of information against existing data to speed up the process of retrieving the race results in the quickest time possible.
