Guided by qualified experts of the area, you will enjoy daily runs in groups with a maximum of 35 people through some truly breath-taking mountain and lake scenery. In total, you will run approximately 150km spread over 8 running days on the tour, covering various scenic landmarks and historical sites, including Mount Fuji, the imperial Edo Castle, Mount Kintoki, Lake Kawaguchi and more!

The moment you arrive at the hotel in Tokyo, all your logistical arrangements will be well-taken care of by the expert local guide. A few nights will also be spent in traditional Japanese ryokan (inns), where you can soak yourself in some wonderful onsen (hot springs) to relax your body and feet.
With Tokyo 2 Fuji’s full board policy, all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be provided on this tour, following previous travellers’ positive feedback. There will be 2 options for thrill-seeking trail runners: 18 to 26 July 2015 and 22 to 30 August 2015. Both options are competitively priced at US$1,899 (S$2,453). With 8 days’ worth of trail running (full itinerary at the Tokyo 2 Fuji website), each day set in a different yet beautiful trail route that offers scenic natural beauty, you will definitely be getting your money’s worth!
The first option includes a unique chance to take part in the legendary Fuji Mountain Race on 25 July 2015: one of the most popular Japanese running events of the year and reserved for no more than 50 international runners. The race takes you up to the summit of the famed Fuji Mountain, and has an elevation gain of 3,000m over 21km.
Tokyo 2 Fuji has 10 exclusive starting spots for foreigners (that's 20% of the total!) for this big race, which will be given out on a first come, first served basis only!
There will be an alternative run for Tokyo 2 Fuji participants who did not score a spot for the Fuji Mountain Race. However, the safe bet will definitely be to book your slot at the Tokyo 2 Fuji tour as soon as possible!
