The Hume & Hovell ultramarathon on Saturday, 13 October 2018 uses The Hume & Hovell Walking Track, constructed as a Bicentennial Project in 1988.
There are 22km half marathon, 50km, 100km and 100 mile distances; the 100km can be run solo or as part of a team relay.
The event is being organised by members of Wagga Wagga Road Runners. Event Director Peter Fitzpatrick is an accomplished distance runner for many years. The event is supported by the Australian Ultra Runners Association Inc (AURA) with an IAU Bronze ranking and recognised by International Trail Running Assoc (ITRA) with this race being a qualifier for many overseas events as well as gaining UTMB points.
