Do you think there will be zero AIDS in our world one day? Yes, zero. Well, UNICEF hopes so! Supporting UNICEF’s global agenda to achieve an AIDS-free world, the 10th UNICEF Charity Run will be held on Sunday, 29 November 2015 – two days before World AIDS Day on December 1st. More than 13,000 runners are expected to come together in the half marathon, 10 km, 5 km and 3 km races.

As a bustling metropolitan city, you may not think of Hong Kong as a runner’s paradise. Much of Hong Kong’s terrain is dominated by hilly to mountainous steep slopes. Almost half of the remaining land area is reserved as country parks and nature reserves. The UNESCO listed the Hong Kong National Geopark as part of its Global Geoparks Network in 2011.
The inaugural edition of the Ultra Trail Hong Kong (UTHK) will offer two long distance courses of 175km and 92km, with a cumulative altitude gain of 9,500m and 5,100m respectively.
