Vlad Ixel is the quintessential man of the world. Born in the Ukraine, he moved to Israel at age four where he immediately caught the athletic bug. Another relocation to Australia as a teen proved difficult because he didn’t fit in right away, but Vlad’s enthusiasm for sports helped him make friends. This event comes on the heels of a similar Hong Kong TGR held in January 2015, so if you happen to read about it, you know a little about the one scheduled for Singapore on 13 June 2015. If you’re team-minded and love a good baton pass, get in on the action—after all, there are medals to be won and you’re likely to discover something heroic about yourself by putting yourself out there, whether this is your very first relay race or your 100th!
