In 2008, the Cold Storage Kids Run started as the only running event for kids. Over the past nine years, the event has attracted over 48,000 children and 128,000 parents and supporters. It is Asia’s first kids-focused running event and a mainstay on Singapore’s sports calendar. The run encourages children to lead an active lifestyle and eat healthy from a young age.

This year, the Cold Storage Kids Run celebrates 10 years of healthy eating and active lifestyle by introducing brand new venue at Palawan Green, Sentosa. With the new start time at 7:15 a.m. the organizer aims to minimize congestion and to deliver an even better experience for families.

At the end of the race, enjoy your family day with exciting post-run activities by the beach and family-friendly attractions in Sentosa. You and your kids will receive discounts for attractions in Sentosa, such as KidZania Singapore, Madame Tussauds, Mega Adventure, 4D Adventureland and Go Green Segway, as part of runner’s entitlements. In addition, you also get to enjoy special discounts for retails and restaurants in Sentosa.

Terence Khoo, Managing Director of event organizer Enterprise Sports Group, said,

For children who had taken part in the multiple editions of the Cold Storage Kids Run, this event provides important milestones in their childhood, from taking part in their first running event, setting personal bests as they get older or merely enjoying quality time with their parents. We believe such memories encourage them to adopt an active lifestyle and reinforce the importance of family bonds.
