If you are running in the city during the evening, you are in for an eye treat. In March, while running near the Marina Bay area, one of the most scenic running place in Singapore, you could see some colorful bright lights and weird objects.

Don’t worry, they are not UFOs but rather from i Light Marina Bay 2016, organised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), that begins biennially on Marina Bay.

The 2016 edition of i Light Marina Bay which runs from 4 to 27 March, returns for its fourth edition to illuminate Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay.

Themed “In Praise of Shadows”, Asia’s leading sustainable light art festival has one of the largest turnouts of local artists to date since 2010. The artists have incorporated the use of recycled materials and adopted energy-efficient lighting technologies in the creation of 25 stunning light art installations.

Beside artworks, i Light has many other festival events and programmes lined up, such as Singapore’s first glow yoga party on the floating platform and night LED-lighted kites flying at the Bayfront Event Space.
