Our favorite and cherished cartoon characters keep us young at heart and bring back delightful childhood memories. Even the most dedicated runners enjoy the frivolity and silliness surrounding cartoon novelty runs. Many of these events are held over a weekend filled with exciting activities and visits by favorite characters. Special races and events are planned for children, making these marathons a true family vacation.

I’ve recently come back to live in Australia after spending 18 months residing in Singapore. And what a blast I had. The recreational running scene in Singapore is at an all time high with a record number of events in 2014. And skoot over to Australia and I’m not to be disappointed. Recreational running is one of Australia’s most popular sporting activities now spawning it’s own dedicated facebook page promoting events across the country.

Mark your calendars! The TRI-Factor Series will kick off its Run segment on Sunday, 26 July 2015. Taking place at Gardens by the Bay East (Next to Marina Bay Golf Course), the third leg of the TRI-Factor Series caters to everyone! With runners of every age and fitness stamina in mind, the TRI-Factor Run will have distances for everyone: 24km, 12km, 5km (for everyone above 13 years of age) and 1km (for all aged 6 years and above).
