As our world becomes increasingly urbanized, we are faced with the problem of environmental sustainability. Many studies have shown that our extrapolated growth and energy consumption could destroy our planet before we know it. NTUC INCOME RUN 350, organised by Young NTUC, is Southeast Asia’s premier eco-run. The run is organised to raise awareness about the impact that carbon emissions have on our environment and what we can do to ensure long-term environmental sustainability.

This is how you, as a runner, can help Sam and LCSS. By signing up for Run For Life, the proceeds will go towards funding LCSS programmes. You will help more than 950 children and youths of different races and religions who come from underprivileged and disadvantaged families, bringing more smiles and laughter into their lives.

Racing requires a symbiotic relationship between the runner’s diet and their training. A healthy lifestyle must be approached with a holistic mindset which turns the habits of your daily routine into a natural and active alternative to the unhealthy habits of a sedentary human being.

More than 20,000 participants took part in the run, with different distances of 21km, 10km and 5km races. Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Acting Minister for Manpower, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of National Development, was the Guest-of-Honour who flagged off the runners.
