To be held on Sunday, 11 August 2013, this inaugural run is jointly organized by the Kranji Countryside Association (KCA) and Pink Apple, with Mr K. Shanmugam, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law as Guest-of-Honour.

Jurong Lake Run 2013 saw approximately 15,000 runners taking part in this flagship running event in the west. 5,500 runners participated in the MediaCorp 10km Run. This was followed by the AIA 6km Vitality Run which saw some 3,000 runners, and an additional 6,000 participants in the 3km Community Walk-a-Jog.
