At the recent 2013 American Heart Association meeting held in New Orleans, a review of previous research found that energy drinks could mess with one’s heart rhythm and increase blood pressure. A record turnout of over 9,000 participants gathered at East Coast Park on Sunday for the fifth annual SingTel & Singapore Cancer Society Race Against Cancer. The race was organised by Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) and participants were running for a good cause. They were running for those who are unable to run, those who have lost their battle with cancer, rallying for those who are still courageously fighting against cancer and rejoicing for those who have overcome cancer.
