If you’re so new to the Singapore running scene you didn’t know that the Sundown Marathon starts after dark or you think The Colour Run refers to your laundry, give yourself a break! You’re going to make mistakes. Even veteran Singapore runners do. But the great thing about mistakes is that you can use them as teachable moments, understanding that most mistakes can be corrected. The following five are the most egregious in our opinion, so if running is your passion, undertake a gut check and see where you stand on each!

I was wandering through an athletic shoe store recently when I was literally stopped in my tracks by a pair of shoes with the unwieldy model name of FAAS 500 v4 pwrCOOL Running Shoes. That’s a really long name for a shoe, I thought to myself, wondering what possessed Puma, the manufacturer, to choose it. But as I did a little research on the shoe, and after testing it, I came to the conclusion that it deserves a nice long name because it’s a really cool shoe.

Is the multi-featured wrist device worth all of the hype? It is if you crave a tool that can help handle portions of your life and keep tabs on your activity and health as you juggle work, home, school and whatever outside activities claim your time and energy. After a two year hiatus in the region, the Powerman Asia Duathlon Championships will make a comeback to Putrajaya on Sunday, 6 March 2016. Organised by E-Plus Entertainment Productions, the event featuring a run-bike-run duathlon race format will anticipate about 3,000 participants, including top duathletes from around the world.
